Angel of Hope Project

Background

The J.O.S.H. Foundation is spearheading a drive to erect a monument dedicated to children who have died at any age for any reason. The Angel of Hope monument would provide a place for remembrance and healing. A place not where our children's bodies lie but where we could lay flowers and notes, and place pictures of our children for all to see. The statue would serve so many who have nowhere to grieve their children. Consider the families who have had to relocate or who had their children cremated or any other circumstance. There are many benefits to the bereaved community to have an angel in our state.

o To provide a peaceful and comforting place for grieving people to join and remember loved ones who were lost to tragedy so early in their lives.

o To foster an environment for emotional, physical, and spiritual healing.

o To provide a place where those remembered are memorialized with flowers, notes, and pictures for all to see.

o For people to enjoy the "Walkway of Love" where those who visit can see their loved one's name and have others recognize and honor them.

o To equip families who have relocated, had their loved one cremated, or simply have no where to go, with a destination to grieve their lost loved one.

o Angel is meant to reflect a celebration of life and help heal the wounds from the loss of a child.
