FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: The "first ever" Angel of Hope Statue in Maryland is being erected in Carroll County, Maryland. There are seventy-two Angel of Hope memorial statues located in the United States with an active committee in Australia.

The Angel of Hope statue is fashioned after the angel monument from the book and movie, "The Christmas Box," written by Richard Paul Evans. The Angel of Hope memorial statue and garden is dedicated to children who have died at any age, under any circumstance. The statue and gardens provide a place of remembrance and reflection for parents, family and friends. A candlelight ceremony is held each year on December 6 to celebrate and remember these children.

The Carroll County Angel of Hope Statue is being erected at the New South Carroll Senior and Community Center's site on Mineral Hill Road in Sykesville, Maryland.
