Our first fundraising event was held on Saturday, November 4, 2006 at Piney Run Park. We were fortunate to have a beautiful fall day on our hands, so the scenery at the park was just breathtaking. This was our first ever event for the J.O.S.H. Foundation and we want to thank everyone that participated either by walking or donating for all their assistance. We had hoped to have more walkers turn out but we were pleasantly surprised at the turn out based on the fact that we are new to these events.

It was a pleasure meeting other bereaved parents and families of loved ones that were taken too soon. I realize how hard it was for some of our walkers to come out and I want to say thank you again for taking the time out of your schedule to join us.
